Nothing like getting home at 6:30 from an appointment at noon. Heres where we stand. I had scans in March, July and then September. The most recent scans show no progression of disease since the July scans. Cancer markers were slightly higher but so minimal that they are within the margin of error. Timing worked in my favor and the clinical trial I was hoping to get involved in opened up yesterday so Im signed up for that. So Ill be spending a few days in Chapel Hill in October and November. I have to admit we were hoping for regression of disease but stable is pretty good as well. Thanks for all the positive vibes and prayers! p.s. For my fellow cancer sisters, in order to do the clinical trial I have to make a change from Femara to Aromasin which means no AIs for two weeks. Can anybody talk me off the ledge for that one?!?
