Nothing pisses me off more than people who dont realize how blessed they are whether it be a relationship they are in or the fact that they were blessed to have children. All my life I have fought to have a healthy lasting relationship and have children of my own but I havent been given that blessing yet. But I have been blessed to be a part of some great kids that I consider my own and I love them with all my heart. Recently I have heard more than once from a few of them that their relationship with their parents is either falling apart or just plain ceases to exist. I guess I dont understand how this is even possible. How as a parent cant you love your child more than anything else in your life. How is anything in your life more important than your child. Im sorry you have to pay child support and tell your friends or significant other that you have obligations to your child. Im sorry you have to make time in your day to listen to your child. Im sorry you have to take your child to the doctor or school or show up at any of their after school events. Im sorry that you think its OK for the other parent to raise your child alone. Props to all you good parents whether biological, step, foster, or any other parental figure who steps up to take care of other peoples children. Being a parent isnt easy but its the most rewarding blessing ever. I love my children more than life itself. Thank you god for placing them in my life.
