Nothing up close. It was generally clear all day and there were tons of predatory birds. Very few songbirds. Not hide nor feather of the elusive siskin. The first picture is a Merlin, of which I am pretty sure I saw two today. The second picture could be another Merlin but for all I know it could be a Peregrine. It has a more distinct Fu Manchu going on and it looked quite a bit bigger (and made the Merlin very, very nervous) but it didnt exactly get near and pose for glamourshots.
