Nothing wrong with knowing the law and be respectful when approaching an Police Officer and letting them know that in some cases they are violating the law without knowing. Lets remember that they are our protection and serve our city. Even though the officer is responsible of knowing the law this cop in particular had no clue about driving an unmarked car was illegal in his state. But he was very cool about it and didnt get upset. I think he was more appreciative than to be all argumental. I blame the department for not sharing the info and not complying with the law. At the end of the day Police officers are employees just like us and they follow what the boss or supervisor says. We all accountable to follow the law even those who their job is about implementing the law! Always be respectful and establish a conversation with them instead of being on the defensive. All the extreme cases out there right now its all because of lack of training on how to deal with people and obsessive force. Lets remember they are here for us, to protect and serve...Not all Cops are bad but they have the right to be aware of everything ready to go because in a split second things could change from bad to worst. So before you open your mouth listen, dont just go off and be conscious about what it could happen! Put yourself in their pants and then make an opinion and see what you come up with before making assumptions!
