Notice to all tour•bot and tour•botPro users... These Apps will no longer be updated after tourbot4 is released Bug fixes will be issued for the next six months as required but no new features or reports will be added to these versions. These apps have been tested with version 8.0 of iOS scheduled to be released this fall and no problems have been revealed in testing. The reason for discontinuing these Apps is having three versions of tour•bot in the marketplace has caused confusion which has hurt sales. The previously free App, tour•botPlayer, will be renamed to tourbot4 and has become the focus of our development efforts for our company going forward. tourbot4 will become a paid App as well but at a lower entry price with in-App purchases for additional reports. tourbot4 has many new features with this release including: 1) A completely revamped look and feel, all aspects of tourbot4 have been updated to the new iOS 8 user interface standards and the new clean controls and improved readability of all screens is a great improvement. 2) iPad useability has been greatly improved with new split screen controllers as the top of the Course, Player and Tour tabs. These new split screens allow you to see the details more quickly and make the Apps easier to use. 3) Both the iPad and iPhone versions will operate in either portrait or landscape mode in nearly every screen, allowing you to find the most comfortable view for yourself. 4) Flights - four Flight options have been added to Tour Setup, allowing tour-level or event-level flight setups using these four different methods. Tour-level flights may also select manual flight setup to allow complete customization over flight assignment. 5) New search index on the Player top-level screen.
