Notice to my kababayans part II - Subject: NOTICE TO VALIDATE VOTER’S REGISTRATION Sir/Madam: Greetings. We are pleased to inform you that Congress has recently enacted R.A. No. 10367 or the “Mandatory Biometrics Voter Registration Act”, and is being implement by Comelec En Banc Resolution No. 9721, which makes it MANDATORY for all registered voters nationwide to have their registration validated or their biometrics (photograph, signature and fingerprints) taken. The voters affected were those who registered during the period June 14, 1997 until 2003, and who have not yet submitted themselves for the validation of their registration. The validation also covers those incomplete biometrics data. Per our record, YOU are one of those registered voters whose registration record lacks the biometrics data. For said reason, you are hereby NOTIFIED to personally come to our Comelec office located at Municipal, Administrative Building, Barangay V for the VALIDATION or the capturing of your biometrics data (Finger Prints, Picture and Signature) during office hours. You may also check for scheduled satellite registration/validation right in your Barangay. Please bear in mind that under the afore-mentioned law, you CANNOT VOTE in the MAY 9, 2016 National & Local Elections and in future elections unless, you registration is validated or your biometrics data taken by Comelec.
