Notre Dame Football Coach Brian Kelly anticipates the academic hearings of five of his players will wrap by sometime Friday but his belief is that a final resolution on their fate will not come until next week. Saturdays game will mark the 5th game missed for cornerback KeiVarae Russell, wide receiver DaVaris Daniels, safety Eliar Hardy, linebacker Kendall Moore and defensive lineman Ishaq Williams in an investigation that started at the end of July and ended two days prior to the season opener against Rice. Its taken nearly five weeks for the honor code hearings to begin. As for the possibility that the results of the hearings could lead to some NCAA punishment and the possibility of previous wins having to be vacated, Kelly said he hasnt given that much thought.
