Nottinghamshire R.A.B.I. Riding Association Pleasure Ride – Sunday 4th August, 12pm at Manor Farm, Carburton, S80 3BU On Sunday 4th August, Nottinghamshire R.A.B.I. committee chairman Robert Bower will host a pleasure ride around the farm (Manor Farm) at Carburton. Boxes to arrive at 12pm for a 12.30pm start. Riders will be taken round in a quiet group with optional jumping and those taking part do so at their own risk. Refreshments will be provided afterwards and a charge of £15 per rider will be taken to help raise funds for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution. Robert’s vision is to start up a riding association and have regular rides around Nottinghamshire farmland and countryside to help raise awareness and funds for R.A.B.I. Robert commented that ‘My idea is to have a quiet hack with likeminded people around some lovely venues’. ‘Anyone wanting to get involved, offer support or a venue can contact me on: 07973 479427’. ‘R.A.B.I. is a very worthy charity and the farming community never know when they may need to call upon this organisation for help in times of need’.
