November 15, 2013 Deer Hunters: This is a message for you! If you plan to take off Monday and Tuesday of deer hunting season, you must pick up a permit instruction sheet from the office. Once we receive a permission note from your parents, then a permit will be given to you that has to be filled out and signed by each of your teachers. This permit has to be returned to the office today. Please pick these sheets up in the morning before school. If you plan to hunt, this must be taken care of this week!! The Student Council will be having Popcorn Friday today. Teachers will collect your money. Popcorn is .50 cents per bag. This is a reminder that picture re-takes are coming up on Tuesday, November 19th. We have picture envelopes in the office if you need one. Nov. 12- 22 It’s time to sign up for middle school forensics. This is open to all 7th and 8th graders. Sign up will take place now through Friday, November 22nd. Sign up forms can be found with Mrs. Loka in room 355, or with Mrs. Hansen or Mrs. Kaminski. Please make sure these forms get turned back into Mrs. Loka. We are looking forward to a great season of being fun and creative! Good luck to Gunnar Leck as he competes in the sectional bowling tournament in Eau Claire on Saturday. Nov. 15-Dec. 11 Once again this year the Elementary Holiday Program is inviting all students who take piano lessons to play as part of a prelude for the Elementary Christmas and Holiday Program. If you take piano lessons and are interested, please pick up a piano prelude application in the office as soon as possible. Fill it out and turn it in to Mrs. Anderson in the elementary music room. The holidays are quickly approaching and the approval process starts now. So do not delay! NWVBC will be conducting its club tryouts on Sunday, November 17, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch for today is fish patty with cheese on a whole grain bun, broccoli, baby carrots, cucumber slices, banana, and applesauce. The pizza special is buffalo chicken and the diner special is a bacon cheeseburger.
