Now Govt. employees are back to work at military sites, but the Parks are still closed in the HEIGHT of Tourist Season... only to lose revenues from taxes on Tourism profits which would have added up to being worth SIGNIFCANTLY MORE than the cost of keeping Park employees at their posts. Over Five Thousand campsites are EMPTY (in NH alone at Federal sites - NH State Park sites ARE open)... If the Govt. wants this to be an uncomfortable experience for the Public (so they can blame the GOP) then they, for once, doing a terrific job. I know I will not forget it and I hope it comes back to HAUNT THEM!!
