Now Hiring an Industrial Engineer General Summary: A local company is seeking a first shift full-time Industrial Engineer. The salary is $65,000or more based on experience. Responsibilities: • Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards • Confer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status • Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computers • Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or 10 years applicable experience • Five to eight years of experience in an industrial environment preferably in a low to mid volume parts manufacturer of automotive, truck or defense components • Must have knowledge oflean initiatives from past organizations • Able to use and work in AutoCAD to develop plant layouts TO APPLY: Please attend our next recruitment event on:Friday, March 21, 2014 Check-in time: 8:30a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (No admittance after 9:00 a.m.) Location:18100 Meyers, Detroit, MI 48235 You must wear business attire (no jeans/gym shoes).
