Now I sat next to an elderly retired gent from Sweden on a plane trip to Uganda recently, he was a marine biologist who had spent his career devoted to the issues of over fishing. He reflected that women in his country were becoming very powerful, including his four daughters, and that he looked forward to the day when women had more power globally in politics as he felt the world would become a kinder, more empathetic, better place... I reflected that this is also what is needed, men who want to see woman in power and welcome it...
