Now, here are some Simple truths about humans, and that includes you … - God created every man with a special ability or a talent (no matter the physical disabilities that we see) - No man is useless (every person has a reason for which he or she was created. No person is an accident or came to earth by chance) - No man is better than another (with respect to what you were created for, nobody is better than you. Maybe from human judgments but divinely, every body is very important. - You are special and unique and have a unique special contribution through your talents to your generation ( so not making your contribution to humanity means taking it to the grave with you; and because you are one of a kind, no one else will be able to give that particular contribution to the world) - Your talent can only be useful to the extent that you use it (The Law of Use says, ‘what you don’t use, you loose. If you do not make appropriate use of your talent, you will definitely loose it) Now, how much longer will you be skill and talent deficient? How much longer will your contribution be hidden from humanity? How much longer will you cheat on nature because that is exactly what you do when you deny humanity from benefiting from you talent? How much longer? Listen to these Startling Statistics … People with skills and talents developed to their full potentials, and not people with education, account for more than 75% of some of the World’s most celebrated achievements. (Electricity was discovered by Michael Faraday, a semi- illiterate who had only basic education and began to work as an apprentice to a book binder at the age of 14; the Light bulb was invented by Thomas Edison, a man who had only three months of formal education; the aeroplane was invented by two brothers, Wilbur and Orville Wright, bicycle mechanics who had no specialized education, Personal Computers were made available on a large scale by Michael Dell, who had to drop out of school to make that possible; Robert Fulton, a trained artist and painter who had interest in mechanical things invented the first commercially viable Steamboat; Virgin Airlines, an airline company was built by Richard Branson a primary school drop-out; Guglielmo Marconi, reported in his biography as, ‘did not do well at school’, invented the wireless radio; Robert Gilmore Le Tourneau dropped out of the sixth grade and started working in a foundry at the age of 14 and then went on to invent the earth- moving equipments like caterpillars and rock breakers that have changed the world for good, forever; Bill Gates, a High school drop-out gave us the most popular Computer Operating System, Windows; Steve Jobs, another High school drop- out changed the way we communicate, play and share music with our electronic device by giving the world iphones, ipads and ipods. The list is endless In the face of all these statistics, The Big QUESTION is … Why then are most people never reaching their full potentials even in the face of their immense and unquestionable talent? Why is it that very often, we see people who we deem very talented and skillful yet they look and appear unsuccessful? In fact, they actually are very unsuccessful. Why is this so? If talent has given the world so much to cheer about, why then are people with talents, failures and many live out below average and mediocre lives? Here’s why: Naturally, people will always, like a river, follow the path of LEAST RESISTANCE and so will never go as far enough with their TALENTS & SKILLS. Anthony Robbins, World re-known Personal Effectiveness Coach said, ‘you will only know how far you can go by going too far.’ Most people, especially unsuccessful people only put in just enough effort or less, in anything they do. They never go far enough. They never put in more than the necessary. Extra work does not exist in their vocabulary. They are enemies with the word sacrifice or more time. They only perform tasks when they get by it. Average people never on their own search for more assignments to carry out. On the other hand, once you see an immensely successful person, you have seen a person that has gone an extra mile in every of his endeavour. All successful people are the go- get- guys. You can always rely on them whenever there is an extra task to be accomplished because they will always volunteer to undertake them. They see every extra work as an opportunity to develop themselves even more or make the most use of their talents. They are always on the move! ARE YOU PLANNING TO BE A SUCCESS?
