Now that Carly and Dodger are home, this journey has come full circle. I just wanted to jump on here and say a big thank you to all those that donated. In some cases twice! A big thank you to all that kept Dodger in their prayers and thoughts. Reading such positive comments was truly heartwarming. I enjoyed reading the comments from Luna The Truck Driving Corgi Girl and many, many others. Then there was an ugly side. Some of the comments I read made me pretty sad. I better than most, can recognize a neglected dog. Dodger was not one of those dogs. Im sorry some were upset at the secrecy. We take all threats seriously and took precautions. Lets rejoice he is home and not out in the cold, surrounded by predators. There were many people key to making this happen. Dawn and her family who found Dodger. Leonard, Shaiya, Cara and Kymba (who both showed up for a search in high winds and blowing snow), Patryka (who went and handed out the new flyers on Thanksgiving Day), Marge and countless others that were in Dodgers corner. I hope the pictures and video are enough for you to all feel good about making this happen. Im the editor of this page. I seldom make personal observations or statements that are mine alone.
