And what message do we send to the healthcare industry, besides the observation that they can continue to charge us whatever they want, at taxpayers expense? I really wish that people paid more attention to the facts than we do partisan hype. Today American economy suffers another blow. Because we seem to think its better for the American citizen to shoulder the cost of unregulated healthcare costs than to hold the industry accountable. The trend of more people filing for bankruptcy will continue until we all will know someone who has. I hate partisan politics. The Republicans should have given the original draft a fair shake and realized its perfect for their platform. But instaid of at least trying to hijack it as their own, they derailed it.
