Now that the election is closing in by the day, i am compelled to write this after observing closely what is happening in these forums. We always say this group is occupied by matured and great minds of our great constituency. The bitter TRUTH here is that i barely understand the sole purpose of this forum if all that flies around here are missiles of insults and hatred, hey lets not forget they say GREAT MINDS DISCUSS IDEAS, AVERAGE MINDS DISCUSS EVENTS, SMALL MINDS DISCUSS PEOPLE- Eleanor Roosevelt. This constituency is greater than any individual and if really we are advocates of justice and Socio-political change and improvement, then the way forward is the use of CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM and CIVIL RESISTANCE. CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM is the process of offering valid and well reasoned opinions about the work of others, usually involving both POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE comments in a friendly manner, constructive criticism is mostly focused on the work not the PERSON, personality must be avoided. HOW CHANGE WORKS Peaceful movements; various movements which use non-violent means of protest as part of a campaign of non violent resistance. violent movements: various movements which resort to violence, they are usually armed and in extreme cases can take form of paramilitary or terrorist organization. eg boko haram, Al-qaida its up for us to choose which means so far as am concerned WHY AM I WRITING THIS? i am strongly against the politics of INSULTS, your opinion/vote is as good as another persons opinion/vote. why cant you play your part peacefully and let the ballot speak at the polls, trust me it aint a joke when they say UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALLnobody is better than anybody here just because our political party, candidate, tribe, local government is not the same. NOTE: THIS IS EXPLICITLY MY OPINION AND MINE ALONE, CIVIL CRITICISM IS HIGHLY WELCOMED
