Nós Cidadãos We, citizens! fill the political space where most Portuguese angry about the growing financial and economic constraints lies. We are with all who believe in democracy, especially those who currently abstain but now see themselves in our proposals. We are all with you, instead of subjecting democracy to populist and demagogic pressures, want to reform the political system. We are all affected by the crisis who do not feel solidarity in their favor, especially the elderly, the marginalized, the disabled. We are the silent who, for cultural or social reasons belonging, suffer in silence his unemployment, his loneliness, or their illness. We are young, better prepared than previous but more vulnerable to the choices of a consumer society and without horizon generations. We are pensioners, stripped of rights promised. We are, above all, the middle class, with private or public jobs, contributes with their work and dedication to build this great and historic country of Europe and Lusophone vocation, we all believe in and we want to see strong, just and free.
