O.K. Everyone this is important and I hope that we get a lot of participation. I know its short notice but here it is. On Monday Nov. 10 The OESJ Booster club and Wolfpack Basketball are holding an event Wolfpack Warmup for the Williams. This is a benefit for the Williams family who lost their house and belongings in a fire on Saturday. The plan for the night is as follows. Starting at 7pm the public (parents and all students) are invited to meet the boys and girls JV and Varsity basketball teams and watch them do warm-up drills. At 8pm we will be holding a dance for grades 9-12 in the High School Cafeteria with a DJ and also be selling concession. We will also be holding a silent auction with many donations by local businesses. The silent auction items will be out starting at 7pm for the public to bid on. We are also asking for donations of non-perishable food items and small household items (dishes,pots,pans,silverware). The price of admission to this event is $2.00 with all proceeds from admission, concession, and the silent auction being donated to the Williams Family to help them recover from their loss. We ask that everyone try to make it to this event and help out this family in need. I know that we all may have our differences at times but when help is needed we all come together to help out.
