O.k. Im giving a rare albeit short sermon. I strive to live what I am preaching and often fall short. No matter the interpretation, LOVE is the key to good relationships; marriage, family, friends, work... I have learned through trial and error that love is a decision--an action word, and NOT a feeling. Its a choice we make to care about others even when they may appear unlovable, or when we have deep disagreements. Its a commitment to their good--even when they dont reciprocate. As I said, I often fail at this, but I see it as my goal in life. Each of us is a work in progress--full of sinfulness, most of all me. God demonstrated His LOVE for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Let us also die to self and see the needs of others as being more important than our own.
