OBITUARY/EULOGY: ALLEN DANE CHRISTOPHER (1987 - 2014) Allen Dane Christopher was born on October 15th, 1987 in Wynewood, PA to John & Marilyn Christopher. A cute baby with a heart-shaped head (so says his mom), he was always very active with a wild imagination. From putting on I Love Lucy plays at home with his siblings to being the 1st one to give you his last cheese curl, he put others before himself from a very young age. He excelled in physical education, Spanish, math, & technology in his scholastic career through the Upper Darby School District (Class Of 2006) & into DeVry University, studying to become an IT professional. Later on, he would volunteer to become a member of the Armed Forces & earned distinguished marks for his physicality & computer-heavy intuition. In the time that Allen had to indulge on himself, he spent a lot of that on his favorite past-times of skateboarding, role-playing computer games, Magic: The Gathering, & making mix CDs. On more than 1 occasion, he was known to pretty handily defeat his siblings in Mario Party & Super Smash Bros. (with his character of choice being Yoshi), yelling out loud in a voice only his family could love, which they very much did (& still do). He would gift his parents mix CDs hed work on & use his creative writing talents to give everyone personalized holiday cards, written in his special brand of penmanship. As he got older, life would have different plans for Allen, which would lead him to re-discovering his closer personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This was thanks, in part, to the Joshua Achievement Center in the Temple section of Philadelphia, PA. It was there that he fine-tuned his audio mixing skills & wrote many pages of Christian free-flow poetry, much of which can be read on social media today. Allens journey on Earth would come to an untimely end on April 3rd, 2014 at the age of 26 years young. He had so much to live for, but it was unknown to all of us that it would be continued up in Heaven. In his wake, he leaves behind an immediate family of 2 devoted parents (John & Marilyn, 52), big brother (Damien, 29), 2 beautiful sisters (Marilyn & Allison, 24 & 22), & an extended family that will miss him more than words that could ever adequately express. As we cry that we no longer can shield him from the dangers of this world, Allen now protects us with his loyalty & love from Heaven above. People will stand where he once stood, but no one will ever take his place in our hearts, minds, & souls. RIP, our eternal angel.
