OBY EZEKWESILI: Courage in Extreme Danger! Oby set a good example by refusing to shake the unclean hand of Doyin OKUGBE when they met recently at Hearthrow Airport, London. Oby must not shake Okugbe’s hand until he cleans it. That man and his principal are out of touch with what is happening in Nigeria. Okugbe should search his conscience. Oby must perverse the intergrity of her group. Oby is neither a NORTHERNER, HAUS-FULANI or CHIBOK WOMAN; she’s a SOUTHERNER, CHRISTIAN, an IG BO WOMAN, a detribilised Nigerian and International personality struggling to ensure that universal human values are operative in our country. That’s why she feels for those girls, their parents and indeeds all Nigerians. What would have happened to Black Americans if the likes of MARCUS GARVEY, MALCOLM X, MARTIN LUTHER KING etc had not struggled for ‘Justice &Respect’ for their human rights? Would there be BarraK Hussaini Obamaof America? What would happen to South African blacks and other non-white populations if NELSON ROHIHLAHLAH MANDELA has not sacrificed himself for 27 years in jail for their freedom? Do we ask for justice only for the people who speak our language or worship like us or come from the same village as we do? According to Nelson Mandala, ‘’What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
