OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Israeli policemen on Friday informed the family of Abdulrahman al-Shalludi that their home in Silwan town in occupied Jerusalem would be razed on Sunday. Shalludi was killed at the hands of Israeli policemen a few weeks ago after suspecting that he deliberately ran over a group of Israeli settlers in occupied Jerusalem. Shalludi’s mother said in a terse statement that the family would appeal against the decision before Israeli courts. ( If this family appeals in an Israeli court, it means they accept or acknowledge the authority of that court. It would be better if at the time for demolition 1000s of Palestinians showed up and blocked the demolition. When they killed Rachel Corrie, they were acting to frighten Palestinians and other activists so they would not physically challenge the demolitions. They went to such lengths to prevent the physical challenge because with enough people, it works. If they send 200 bulldozers, 5000 Palestinians should show up. I think by now Israel is realizing that its heavy handed approach to everything has failed and has hurt Israel, more than it hurt the Palestinians.
