OCTOBER 3 MOVIE OF THE DAY: Bug (2006) Dir. William Friedkin From the man who gave us The Exorcist, is this incredible little film about a woman (Ashley Judd) holed up in a rural Oklahoma motel who becomes involved with a paranoid man obsessed with conspiracy theories about bugs and the government (played expertly by a pre-fame Michael Shannon). Both performances are some of the best Ive ever seen. It may not be a conventional horror film but it creeped the hell out of me and still gives me nightmares. youtube/watch?v=vs1ubiodlNI
