OF VOTERS AND GULLIBILITY: Philosophically I have always wanted to know what compels a man to give up his self for another man or in other words what makes men to vote for a man. To some extent I have found this to be a master-slave relationship in the disguising outfit of democracy. Voters especially in a dominantly illiterate society are so gullible such that if you campaigned to them that within 90 days you are going to cure all diseases and bring heaven on heath, they would vote for you without any logical questioning. That explains why every Jim and Jack is confident of winning elections, although some even struggle to meet the requirements of filing nominations. I pity the Zambian electorates, they are so blinded by their ignorance and poverty such that they dont know the modus operandi of determining good leadership qualities, they would rather not vote for a certain tribe because of their misconceived illusions even if the person had the ability to effect development, but on the other hand they would gladly vote for a drunkard straight from the bar as long as he is a big buyer! It is utter nonsense to say I cant vote Mr X because of his tribe and yet vote Mr Y because it is believed people of his tribe are good, even if he may be a serial drunkard who has lost his true self because he is always at the height of inebriation. Cry my beloved citizens, for a country which has the potential to be a super power now dances at the whims and caprices of the rich. For the voters in whom is endowed the God-given right to vote out mediocrity and restore everything that the canker-worms have stolen is now prey to the same corruption that is responsible for their poverty. OPEN YOUR EYES JUDGE WISELY, GOD HAS GIVEN YOU THE POWER TO CREATE AND DESTROY... THE WAY YOU VOTE WILL DETERMINE WHETHER YOU ARE GOING TO BUILD OR DESTROY THE NATION. DO NOT VOTE FOR A PERSON BECAUSE HE IS YOUR TRIBES MAN, FOR ZAMBIA IS NOT A TRIBE BUT A NATION. DO NOT VOTE FOR SERIAL DRUNKARDS FOR THEY HAVE NO MORALS. VOTE OUT OF THE CONVICTION THAT THE PERSON YOU ARE VOTING FOR IS FIT FOR THE JOB.
