The European Landowners´ Organization (ELO) is looking for a native Czech student (preferably last year of university), for a position as assistant policy officer at its headquarters in Brussels. The internship will be of minimum 6 months, with the possibility of a long-term contract and the prospect of managing several projects in the Czech Republic. Brief Job description: The job will involve following issues related to agriculture, environment and rural family businesses at the level of the EU Commission and EU Parliament. In addition the candidate will be trained to follow specific projects running in the Czech Republic and tasked with maintaining communications with the Czech Ministry of Agriculture, Environment, and the Czech Private Farmers Association (Asociaze Soukromého Zemědělství ČR). Minimal requirements: - Excellent English proficiency (French language optional), - Excellent proficiency with Windows Office, - Good communication skills, - Drivers license, - Willingness to travel.
