This is to impress upon all Zonal Education Officers (ZEOS) of District Kupwara to keep intact the School wise enrollment and provision of Teaching staff with them for reference. It has been learnt that some Schools opened/upgraded under SSA have either no enrollment or low enrollment which is a matter of grave concern as this has led to decreasing trend of enrollment in the District. It is enjoined upon ZEOS to identify all such schools that have been combined with other Schools for having no enrollment and ensure to repatriate such Teacher to the habitations/ Schools where from they have been selected. It is further impressed that the salary of all such Teachers be kept with held till they make their Schools functional and in for enrollment drive on their own. In case of any negligence on the part of ZEOS, the responsibility will squarely lie on their shoulders and he any instance of such nature is detected during the course of inspection, the matter will be referred to administrative department against the defaulting ZEO for disciplinary action.
