OGHARA KIDNAP/ROBBERY KINGPIN, ANDY IHWIA KILLED. Ogharefe - There wɑƨ a gun battle between Andy, his gang and officers of the Nigerian army yesterday around Warri area after they tried †o abduct a haulage business mogul in Warri. Andy and another of the gang member wɑƨ killed on the spot while others escaped with bullet wounds. An AK 47 rifle, Pumping barrel, mobile phones and Andys Toyota Camry (Big ƒόr̅ nothing) were recovered. About four other members of his gang has been arrested as confirmed by Delta state Commisioner of Police, Mr. Aduba. Andy wɑƨ a notorious criminal who resided at Ajanesa, Ogharefe before he went on self exile after they kidnapped Mrs. Ufuoma Uyovwisohwo last year. He wɑƨ also involved in the kidnap of chief E.T. Ofa and several others in Oghara. He wɑƨ declared wanted ƒόr̅ a long time before he started coming into Oghara town since early this year with two cars †o himself. Andy wɑƨ ratted †o the police in Oghara when he started coming into town again, but nothing wɑƨ done until he wɑƨ arrested by the JTF Army at Oghara. He wɑƨ later released †o one Sunday Ogba and until yesterday, he had been circumnavigating the town with his boys. A source close †o him told Oghara CNN that Andy had been working with some officers of the Oghara Divisional police headquarters who gave him information and even comitted most of the crimes with him.
