OH HAI The midsummer grading will be in Montreal (at the Montreal Kendo Club in NDG) on the 1st of June. It will be from 1st kyu to 3 dan. SO Anyone who is 2kyu is eligible for 1kyu and we strongly, strongly recommend you do it (Im looking at everyone from the fall semester). It implies, however, that you will need to know all 9 katas. Anyone who is eligible for 1-2-3 dan should also try (you can see in your CKF profile whether you are or not). Its next door, youll be at home; itll be much better than going all the way to Toronto. How it works: 1- You need to be a CKF member; if you hadnt registered yet, please do so. 2- You need to ask Senseis permission. Go talk to him or email him to ask his permission. If you have been missing classes, please explain yourself why. 3- THEN email Tania so she unlocks your profile. 4- You can now send your registration through your CKF profile. 5- I shouldnt be saying this but.... come to practice.
