OH! I enjoyed my three day stint with the scholars at Lassiter Middle. We dug into the geography of Southern Europe and put our finger on over twenty nations with their capitals and added some culture and the importance of the Mediterranean to the people of that region. We even added a little Greek letters and John Donnes No Man is an Island to emphasize the importance of studying the lay of the land. It was a fantastic performance. Mr. Green, the principal, was the first black track athlete to graduate from the University of Kentucky. It was a great experience. Busy writing my substitute summary with the effort to remember to include the ones demonstrating the four cardinal virtues of moral character instead of the squeaky wheels. Amazing time. Preparing Cod, potatoes, and kale for dinner with the parents. Have a blessed day!
