OH my Risë Quay, only 8? I must be pretty boring. Actually if I wrote about my younger life (teens, 20s etc) I think many would be flabbergasted so I will just stick to my basics =) 1. Born in Manhattan, NY (Doctors Hospital) 2. Never knew my father 3. My mom instilled a love of horses (she was a horse back rider intstructress in NJ in her younger days) early on as well as dogs. 4. The first family dog I can remember was Midnight, a black German Shepherd. 5. I bought my first horse with money earned at age 15 working for Frank Inn, animal training, an Appaloosa named Ivanhoe. 6. Bought my first show GS at age 12 with babysitting money and showed her AKC. 7. Fell in love with Norwegian Elkhounds and rescued two. 8. Fell in love with the TM in 1978 and got my first one in 1980.
