OHS & E COORDINATOR An exciting opportunity exists at Maguire Coaches and Travel, to ensure adherence to and manage the legislative, company and contract clients’ requirements relative to Occupational Health, Safety and the Environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure a strategic approach is utilised by the company in relation to OHS&E responsibilities; • Educate and train company employees in relation to OHS&E requirements and responsibilities; • Develop & Maintain strong stakeholder relationships; • Offer sound and researched advice to the Managing Director and other senior personnel relative to OHS&E issues; • Utilise a pro-active risk management approach to hazard identification and subsequent remedial action; • Prepare formal reports for the Human Resources Manager on a variety of OHS&E matters; • Develop audit tools with a view to conducting regular internal audits; and • Develop Policies and Procedures relevant to OHS&E. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL POSSESS Essential: • Diploma in Work Place Health and Safety; • Open ‘C’ Class Driver Licence; • Certificate IV Training and Assessment; Desirable: • Post Graduate Award in relevant field • Rehabilitation and Return to Work Qualification If you meet the aforementioned criteria and this challenging opportunity appeals to you we welcome your application.
