OK - our City website is making some moves into the 21st Century. The City has launched a new feature that gives you the ability to analyze your own property - how they came up with the assessed value, what properties around it are worth, and what your taxes are going toward. On top of it there is a cool new mapping tool that shows this information on a map - as well as other information about what facilities are near by and as a bonus you can measure the distance from your home to wherever you want to go (bus stop or perhaps ice cream place?). This will soon hopefully be overlayed with more information about when you can expect your street to be swept and lane to be graded and stuff like that.
