Lets take bets on what horrible archaic practice Sir Pository (the politician formerly known as the Mad Monk) and his Unholy Alliance of Free Range Bigots will want to reinstate next. Im thinking Pyne will be angling for corporal punishment reintroduced to schools as a way of lifting declining discipline standards. (Im imagining hell bring Amanda Vanstone out of retirement to implement the scheme, with Lord Alexander Downer brought in to design a range of luxurious underwear items to accessorise with headmasters canes, whips, clamps and cleats)
