OK Lads and lasses of Lomaxland. What another fantastic Tillerman - TopicsExpress

OK Lads and lasses of Lomaxland. What another fantastic Tillerman Show Artists Open Stage we shared last night. Ian Jay opened the stage with some melodic bass quickly followed by Jay Rehm (Jimmy & The Revolvers) forever birthing new tunes and smashing them! John Hall from the Southend gave us some steel guitar whilst Kevin Murphy (Spud) from Cardiff got the crowd singing and swinging. More newbies Zach & Jack (Pink Mist Thursday) traveled all the way from Litherland gave us some originals then stayed the whole night. Will Stockley did his thing before Philly Moore (Raw City) delivered his well-crafted anthems for the crowd to sing along to. Jo Levis burst her pip for the first time at Lomax followed by Michael Taylor (Chile). Dogstar Rose fresh from the cupboard smashed it with our very own Jonny Mc Cauley then the lovely Rowan Reid hit us up for another three quality sing-a-long anthems. It was at this point I have to say, things started to go the shape of pears. The very gifted Mick Flaherty laid out his pedal arrangement all neat and tidy only to be ambushed by the other wanting muso assassins which was all good in the spirit of Lomax but a logistical nightmare for he who runs sound. (SiFi who gave Frank Hedges the Mic?) Thank you to Jay Majorcountry Heart who managed to fit the whole mic in his mouth as we journeyed to the Psycho cosmos. Ged Parker brought it all back down to earth thankfully and put it all back together at which point Daddy decided he had to go home, after all, it is a school night. A very big thank you to Keiran Oates and Terry Gray for hanging after hosting their own shows and everyone who came and never got to perform. Also those of you who just came to hang out. Zinny, Charlie, Dan, Jessica West, Jennifer Kickhefer, Ste Skully, Two Pints to name but a few. Until next time People. Be Free BTW has anyone seen Dooley? Let me know if I have forgotten anyone please!
