OK. So heres the story of my car breaking down last night. Mom, dad and I go out to dinner and do a bit of shopping and all is going well, then on the way home I go to make a left turn and the car just shuts off. The only thing working was the security light. I put it in park and get out to see whats going on; the hazard lights work, the interior lights work (except the dash). Dad then tries to see if its a battery problem, like the alternator died and we just ran out of juice, so he sees if theres enough power to run the horn, so he presses and the horn sounds.......then doesnt shut off again for another 5 or 7 minutes until we can borrow someones tools to disconnect the battery. The battery is under the back seat so we had to figure out how to get it off and get everything that was on it off of it as well. So finally the horn stops and I get on the phone to AAA and get it towed to the Chevy dealer up the road from us. All that caused this drama was a $.15 fuse. Of course they charged us for the hour it took to figure it out. But hey, its better than needing an entirely new electrical system.
