OK. With all this NFL scuttlebutt. Maybe I am wrong but there is something wrong when beating the tar out of your wife--knocking her unconscious--& dragging her from an elevator is compared to--spanking your child with a switch from a tree. Of course depending how much of a switching was used. I dont believe in excessive switching or abuse. When I was a child or even when my kids were children--a switching was acceptable. Usually--the child had to pick the switch from the tree themselves--which made it even harder. Give me a break. our world is partly in the trouble it is today because of lack of discipline. In these 2 cases--unless the child was hurt--more than his little fanny & attitude--there is just NO comparison.
