OK discerning fans...for six months I have been doodling away with my trusty biro and producing homages to the masters of the fantastic (titans of terror if you prefer), the first five are actors and Ray will be the first non-actor addition. The portraits try to capture not just the cinematic career of the subject but also something of their hobbies, family life and overall legacy. Just a hobby, but it keeps me out of mischief, and biros are cheap. In 13 hours I will complete the 10th border portrait for Ray and I am dithering as to what it should be. The Children of the Hydra will feature within the frame of the picture, and I thought about the Hydra itself but there is only so much detail you can get into a 2 and 1/2 inch circle with a ballpoint pen (trust me on that!), also I did not want the finished article to be too Jason heavy, even if it is my favourite. so I am thinking a giant octopus but am open to suggestions... Apologies for rambling but I best get this right, hence I ask the experts.
