OK dog people: Our 15 year old cockapoo Marty needed a diet change to take stress off of his kidneys. We started on the dry stuff but he did not like it that much. We now grind that up and mix it with the soft food (same special formula). He used to be a "grazer" on dry food (we just kept a big bowl topped off). Since we did this change a few weeks back, he wakes up at 4:30 a.m. give or take a few minutes (like clockwork!!). Tonight I am turning the clocks around so he cannot see them! Tonight I also gave him another bowl of food at 10:30 to see if maybe hunger was causing him to wake up a few hours early. Thoughts?
