OK folks, since we announced our closure, many people have been asking us about some of the memorabilia and items in the bar and whether they can buy them. As I responded, we were hoping we could secure a new venue to move to early in 2015. Sadly, as of today the two places we put offers in for were rejected in favour of other proposals, so we have taken the decision that we will need to offload most of the equipment and items either before or shortly after closure. It doesn’t mean we might not get a place later in 2015 but right now we don’t have a venue to move to and we’ll have to wait and see if somewhere comes available thats right for you and us! As such Ben Mortiboy will be posting on here and Ebay the various items for sale over the next few days so if there’s something you’d like to get hold of to keep as a memento of Subside and your experiences at Birmingham’s best Rock & Alternative bar then make your offer as soon as possible. You can offer by message to myself here on Facebook or via Ben’s Ebay account which I’m sure he’ll post underneath. Please note that all sales on Facebook will be allowed a minimum of seven days before we close the sale and payment will be at the bar and cash only with collection from the bar at your own expense. If there is something you particularly have your eye on then feel free to message an offer before it even comes up for sale, that way you’ll be first in line for the item. Do not message and ask how much we want, these will be ignored, make an offer and we will respond. Any offer below £20 for any item will be ignored as timewasting. So, whether it’s the Jack Daniels Barrel, the Jagermeister sign, one of the tables, a bar stool or whatever, now is the time to get your piece of Subside history!
