OK guys, first I want to say Thank You to Mike Rozin for allowing us to take up all of his space. Ive gone through over 40 of thee 72 messages and theyre all saying or asking about the same thing. What Id like to do first right off the bat is to meet at the track when the weather gets a little, well, a lot warmer then it is now. I want us to introduce ourselves so that we know who is who. I have problems remembering names so I may just put a piece of tap on my forehead. The first meeting or the first time out there I want to walk the grounds to see what we have in front of us. Then if someone would like to take some notes that would be very helpful because then we dont have to say I thought you no I thought you. I also noticed that some of you are thinking that we are going to try to reopen this, NO WAY am I or are we going to try and reopen this to racing. Im sorry I dont have the money to fight city hall but if e open this as a gather place either to have a tail gate party and on other nights we can use this as a gathering place for a cruise night. Maybe go over and over pack Blue Top or some other place. If we can just meet and walk the grounds I can ask a couple reporter friends of mine I will ask them if they would like to come out and do a story and maybe this could be another information out let to get others to show up. I dont even own a hot rod any more but I just hate going by there and thinking what could have been, just like the rest of you. If you dont want to help, which Ive had more then I thought would say no then stay out. We dont need any negativity in this new approach of getting 30 back in shape! After we find out who wants to what or who can help here or there we can set another date and then get started. Ive got a school friend that lives in Ohio I bet will set a date of vacation to come here if we get a date set up. Do you agree with me so far? I know whatever date we set someone isnt going to be able to make it, Im sorry but were going to have to work around you. I know for a fact that here will be times Im not going to be able to make just like the rest of you. All Im asking now is for you to start thinking about a date to go out and look around. This will give us some time to maybe get some of the things that might prevent us from being able to just go out there. If any of you know someone that can help with any legal problems we may run into, for no charge, please. Thanks again to Mike for allowing us to use his space for this!
