OK, here is the story on this one and why I am posting this video on my FB Timeline. You have to read a bit and watch a bit. This should not be difficult for the friends I have on FB. So, here it goes. All troops that serve their country will most likely spend time away from their families at some time during their service. These are five girls who all have fathers that were serving in the British armed forces. They entered a contest with over 1,000 contestants and the prize was to be able to sing in front of the Queen of England. They won, and this is the video of their performance. No, that is not why I posted it. Keep reading. Their song was actually to ALL military families about what to say when those times to be away from each other are about to begin. The message is to tell your ‘Warrior’, “You will return when it’s over. No need to say Goodbye.” I cant imagine what it must have been like for these young ladies to be able to say their personal message in song before the Queen. What they sang was from their hearts! They have had to live it. Our military men and women when deployed want to be back home with their families just as much as those families want them back, but those same families know their loved one is away because they answered “The Call.” That makes them very proud, as it should. That message that the girls sent in song alone would be enough for me to want to post this video, but you have to watch it to the end to see why I actually did. I mean to the end of the video, not to the end of the song... May God Bless and watch over our ‘Troops’ who fight to defend our freedoms. May they all return when it is over.
