OK here we go with another in the news today I just watched the news in shock and anger at the dreadful and quite despicable actions of Ineos the owners of the Grangemouth petrochemical plant and refinery up in Scotland. The workers there all 800 have just been sacked after years of dedication assisting the owners and share holders to line their pockets! Unbelievably it seems the manager giving out the devastating news was actually smiling and laughing while he did it! has this country sunk so far back into the heartless exploitation of the past under this tory government that such a thing could happen today in 2013? sadly yes! Now Ineos would have us believe that its all the fault of the workers and their union, however how many of us could afford to accept a big pay cut and removal of most of our terms and conditions?? none Id guess, So, in the perfectly legal way the workers said no to that and Ineos have now sacked them all with no redundancy package in the hope of blackmailing them to accept far less so that there fat cat directors and share holders can enjoy even more money extorted out of the working man and women of of Scotland! This sort of thing is nothing short of disgraceful!
