OK lets try this again, what I was trying to say but apparently came out completely wrong: Mykes work schedule has changed and because of it he does not have sundays off for the next 6 months...which means that he cannot go to church or to the home fellowship group we signed up for. It would be wierd going to church without him every week so we need to switch to Saturday evening services...even then he will be late to every service but at least he will still be fed and we can still go as a family. Switching to a different church is NOT an option because they would not be as accomodating for Aaron. This church is our home and although we do not know a lot of people there yet ECC ministers to my whole family EVERY service. We tried over 30 other churches throughout San Diego before finally coming to ECC....most would not help Aaron in any way and the ones that would just didnt seem to minister to the rest of the family.....ECC ministers to everyone of us on a different level every single week from the kids to the youth to the worship to the preaching...It is the first church we have all felt COMPLETE at since we moved to CA. Im bummed that mykes schedule has changed and we have to switch to SAT evenings and even then he will miss 1/2 of it and it will mean getting a new group of people used to Aaron.....BUT we will still all be where we belong and where he has called us to be just in a different manner....hopefully that makes more sense :)
