OK, my youngest one, and I were going for my daily mountain hike yesterday, and the subject of dragons came up. IMO. there were dragons at one time. the myth of dragons is world wide, from south America, to china, to Siberia, and places I cannot pronounce. when this happens, I tend to think that there was a reason for this. my take is that an advanced reptile species that was evolving from reptile to bird, (hence the intelligence and flying), and also the ancient ability to hibernate for long periods of time, (in the dragon myths, the dragons sleep for extended periods), evolved up to the KT event, when a large rock hit our little blue dot. they were smart enough to say, WTF! I am going underground and sleeping until this thing blows over)! then they re-emerged, and have been around at least long enough to get lodged in the human psyche. but who knows, just my ramblings. any-who.....here is an interesting link about a new find. got to file this in my things that make you go hmmmmm file. enjoy. zp livescience/47789-avatar-pterosaur-discovered.html
