OK so I called Camellia cafe where the lady taking my delivery order wasn’t totally all there. Or so was my perception. Then the delivery guy called to say he didn’t know where my neighborhood is and that google can’t find it. I told him he didn’t have to know where it is. Plug in my address and his GPS will get him here. 25 minutes (really short time) later he shows up and doesn’t look at me, rather keeps his head down. My dogs were out on the porch and I told him they are cool. Guy doesn’t look at me. I ask if he’s ok as he just stands there looking at the ground. No response. Again I ask “Man, are you ok” “Do you need some kind of help”?? “Bring your dogs inside”, rather unpleasantly, was his reply. Or so was my perception. I brought them in and he just stood there, still looking at the ground. He then looked at me for about 5 seconds and I said “Man, you need some serious customer service skills”. I snatched the bag, signed my receipt with no tip and slammed the door. He stood there for another minute fumbling with the paper. I don’t know if he was having a moment or was just scared stiff. Either way, I owe an amends. I shall bring a hefty tip and apologize for my short temper. I’m sure that was his perception.
