OK, so Ive been seeing these here are X-number of things about me, like and Ill give you a number posts on FB. I decided, what the heck and gave it a shot. My Mistress (a person whom I am apprentices and preteges to in the SCA.....not the other kind in case all my non SCA friends were wondering) gave me 11. So here you go...11 fun facts about me. Like and Ill give you a number. 1-Back in grade school, I was going to be skipped ahead a grade. The principal decided it wouldnt benefit me socially, so I was kept in the same class. 2- Given the chance, I think Id absolutely love to go sky diving. 3-I have nearly died at least 4 times in my life. 1-I nearly was strangled/suffocated in utero thanks to doctors incompetence. 2-I nearly drowned in a pool back in a summer school program. 3-Nearly was caught in gang crossfire. 4- I damn near blew myself full of shrapnel with an improvised CO2 cartridge firework. 5 -I was run over by a semi. Fun times! 4- I love goat meat. It is very tasty stuff, especially with lime and a good beer. 5-Ive been playing music since I was in grade school. I started on recorder but never followed through with that. I remember dinking around on pianos every chance that I got. Then in 2000 I started to learn guitar and keyboard, but never got the hang of the keyboard. Nowadays I own and play two electric basses, an acoustic guitar, a classical guitar, three working electric guitars plus two fixer-uppers, a 12 string acoustic/electric, as well as a bodhran. Id like to someday get a period stringed instrument like a vihuela as well as a doumbek. 6-I recorded and put out an album along with my long time friend Tim about 5 years ago under the name Trial Run on CD baby. That is still one of my biggest accomplishments in life. 7-I went to culinary school for a year and I also went to bartending school and passed that with flying colors. I still use what I learned in those classes on almost a weekly basis. 8-Asides from music, food and drink are big passions of mine. To be able to create edible objects that can trigger strong and vivid memories and emotions of comfort and joy bring me lots of satisfaction. That is part of why I learned to make mead...cuz I likes making people happy with the special things I make :) 9-To this day, I happily read the Chronicles of Narnia. Something about the can still captivate me. 10-I do, firmly, believe in Extraterrestrials, ghosts and the paranormal. *puts on tinfoil hat* 11- if you put a pencil or Pointy-ish metal item right in front of my forehead, I get a very strong shooting tingle right through my head.
