OK so he didnt place, he did get a metal but thus was the first year a mixed martial arts school competed & Josh was the very first black belt to perform for the judges - who with all due respect havent seen MMA at the tournament level, so no 1st 2nd or 3rd..Thats okay Josh rocked it AND if I do say so myself no other athlete commanded the attention of basically everybody else, nor did the other artists receive the cheers that he did.. Way to be a trend setter Joshua, you win like a winner with class & modesty & you lost the same way...like a winner. You represented yourself, your family, your entire school, coaches, and once again set a positive example on the higgest of levels of athletism, resect & disapline for every student that looks u to you, by EARNING the respect & admiration of that tournament, to do that much, so well at 16 years old, its not your style to show it, but Im telling you, your are amazing, I am so excited for your future, whether your goals remain the same, the Marines then Federal agent or your heart leads you down another path, you are unstoppable. I am certain that you & your classmates also made sure that next year - mixed martial arts will NOT be misunderstood or overlooked by anyone. Maybe I am bragging but Im not you. Im just saying
