OK, that was an unusual evening. Arrived at hall to set up for ceilidh, discovered the keys wed been given didnt work. Further investigation revealed they were the back door keys, but all internal doors locked. Hall owners phone going to voicemail. Expectant ceilidh-goers gathering in car park. So we did the only thing you can with a band, a caller and a bunch of people whove come to dance: we danced in the car park. At 9 pm an extremely contrite and apologetic owner arrives with the right keys - she was at the cinema - and we finished the evening in the hall, unamplified.
