OK the website link is NOT LIVE YET! Working on it in between horse chores! Heres the skinny; if you want to RIDE: you will need to git yerself sponsored for at least $50 to join us! (that will mean at least 5 folks willing to sponsor you for $2 a mile for the 5 miles = $10, or two folks happy to sponsor you for $5 a mile = $25, you get the idea)...There will be a special prize for most money raised by a single rider! THEN there are all kinds of gifts FOR EVERY rider who participates! Our ride will be five miles on the flat, a very easy ride for early season, and may be completed just as slowly or as quickly as you like (no prize for finishing first!). There will be raffle tickets to pick up along the way with fun, optional obstacles, there will be a prize for best dressed, a prize for best condition horse at the END of the ride, and lots of other fun giveaways! (were working on the details!) If you want to SPONSOR; we will be entering a few Rosemary Farm horses that are ready, into the ride, if they get sponsored. Stay tuned! Any sponsor who contributes $50 gets one of the special Angel Tees! WHATS AN ANGEL TEE?- This ride has a theme, and that is that we are each riding in honor of, in memory of, a great horse that has crossed the rainbow bridge. You may put your horses names on your tee if you like, and we will have a special board to put up a photo of the horse that you are celebrating! We want to have fun, raise some funds for RF, and celebrate our horses! IF you want to VOLUNTEER; we will need you! Volunteers can help with rider check in, help with an obstacle, help with prizes or the raffle, help set up games, AND YES< volunteers who help us all day will ALSO get an Angel TEE! We RIDE; out of the beautiful PLUM TREE event center, in downtown S. Kortright NY, leaving around 10a (riders will be staggered). Sign in between 8:30=9:45 am that morning. YOU will need to bring your checks/cash for Rosemary Farm to verify your amount raised, you will need a coggins and valid rabies cert, you will need to sign a release form, and you will need to be ready to have FUN! LUNCH! We will be serving an optional picnic lunch of cold salads, hot dogs, and yummy treats for a $7 fee, or you may bring your own!
