OK, way off topic technical question. Ignore me, scold me, or delete the post as you see fit. I want to permanently install some AC lights and outlets in a cargo trailer. Nothing beefy, just one or two 15amp circuits. The connection to the power sources will be a standard grounded plug so I can connect them into whatever is available or most convenient, such as an invertor, generator, or shore power. Should I attach the AC safety ground to the chassis of the trailer, or let it float? I do plan on running everyhing through a GFCI outlet. Thoughts, advice, opinions?
